Hyundai Elantra Sedan - Generation 2 (1996-2000)

HYUNDAI ELANTRA SEDAN (1996-2000)

Hyundai's first attempt locally to compete with the Corolla/Civic rivalry, the Elantra has all McPherson struts, all disc brakes, and ABS braking system, so is a wagon body (until the Opel Astra had it). The nameplate would return seven years later.
