Vehicle Overview
With the first generation Murano being distributed by Nissan Motor Philippines, the second generation one is handled by Universal Motors Corporation. Like several Nissan models, this one arrived a few years later, with introduction in January 2008 in the USA.

Coming from the VQ engine family, the 3.5 gasoline purrs smoothly and despite pushing harder, it is silent as a tombstone. This vehicle is paired to a CVT transmission, something Nissan is known for, that contributes to a smooth drive with less fuel penalty. Handling is easy thanks to a manageable size.

Do not be fooled by its diminutive size, the cabin is cavernous especially that it can accommodate five people in comfort. For the price, it comes with a high quality interior which rivals European vehicles costing more.

What Should I Get
Dubbed as the Z51, all models get a 260hp 3.5, six airbags, ABS brakes, stability control, back up camera in the rear view mirror, roof rails, sun roof, headlamp washers, rain sensing wipers, HID headlamps, leather seats, power driver's seat, power tailgate, BOSE sound system, cruise control, alarm, and keyless entry. All Philippine market models have all wheel drive as standard.

How Much Would It Cost Me
Although cheaper than it was brand new, this isn't a large seller which means parts are limited. Fuel consumption is on the high side, especially that it comes with a V6 engine.
